Originally from Texas, Lamar received a bachelor's degree in marine engineering and a

master’s degree in maritime administration and logistics from Texas A&M University. He began

his career as a broker at Charles Schwab and later worked for large asset managers

collaborating with financial advisors throughout the US to help maximize clients’ portfolios.



He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, member of the National Eagle Scout Association and

Knights of Columbus.
