Joseph Patrick Roop, known as JoePat, began his investment career in 1992 as a college intern at Merrill Lynch. He went on to work as an investment advisor for several major financial institutions. In 2009, he founded Belmont Capital Advisors, a boutique investment firm where he serves as president.
Since his start in the industry, JoePat has specialized in financial strategies while prioritizing strong, personal relationships with his clients. He takes pride in helping individuals secure their financial future, offering a personalized approach that prioritizes their unique goals and concerns. His deep understanding of market trends and tax considerations ensures his clients stay informed and confident in their investments.
With over 30 years of experience, JoePat has witnessed significant shifts in the financial landscape and uses his expertise to help clients navigate them with confidence. He lives in Belmont, North Carolina, with his wife, Gail, and their two children, Henry and Alex.
